Won't get into the details why, just note it's PHI based. If I have iPhones at work that we want to be able to send standard text messages, but not iMessages, and DON'T have an iTunes account logged into these devices is there a way to set the device up to just receive text messages (the green bubbles
). Every article out there talks about going to Settings > Messages and toggle it off but all I get is a screen to login to iTunes.
Note maybe the phone can do this without any settings and I'm just not seeing it. I only have a fresh iPad with cellular setup to test but think even with cellular the iPad can't send or receive text messages without being linked to a physical iPhone.
