can anyone help when i try to update my apps from my iphone it comes up with my old id ive tried everything i can also wen i try and check for new general updates through the laptop it tells me that an unknown error 1630 has occured

On iTunes go to the tabs at the top. And look for the drop down list that says de-authorise pc with phone. Click this then log in with your new I'd and go to the same tab and now choose authorise pc.

Also when opening the AppStore app on your phone click on either "Featured", "Categories" or "Top 25" and scroll right to the bottom you should see your apple id, click on it and log out, than if you want, put in your new one or if you don't, the next time you download anything, it will ask you to sign in with your id. Hope this helps.
