Wife's iphone 11, on 2 separate occasions has had the top 4 or 5 contacts in her favourites list just disappear. No apparent reason, she's done nothing that she is aware of, they just aren't there. Both times she has reinstated the missing contacts from the main contacts list, but it is annoying. Any suggestions?

You could try turning off Contacts under your iCloud settings and then turning it back on again.
