Comcast email

New here, so if this is already resolved elsewhere, just redirect me?

I have a Comcast email account set up as a POP account on my Iphone 4. Every time I want to check my email, I have to hit the 'Mail' button and wait 30 seconds for the iPhone to login, check my mail and report any new emails.

Are there available settings to run Comcast email directly through Exchange so that it will automatically check and receive my mail instead of me having to hit the 'Mail' button and wait?

I have a comcast account too, not sure if you figured it out because this thread is old but, if you have your comcast setup as a mail account on your Iphone you can have it pushed every 15 minutes, every 30 minutes or hourly, go to Mail, contact, calendars>fetch new data ensure push is on and select the fetch schedule also go down to advanced and go in there and select the email account and select fetch. your mail should pull automatically by what you selected. hope this helps.
