Can't get vids to play through TV?

Just purchased a Rockfish component cable from BestBuy and vids I've recorded from my phone won't show up on TV. Do I have the wrong cable or not hooked up right. which input does it go in ? component 1, 2, video1,2 etc.....??

What kind of cable do u have? I don't recall the name of that cable, but it should be a white long cable with ( 1 usb male port, 1 dock port, and 3 tv input ports "white red yellow") if the cable you are having doesn't correspond to this description the you are having the wrong cable. And incase you have the right cable, go to settings, ipod, and enable tv-out. Don't forget to swich to av mode on your tv after connectin your phone to your tv using that cable. Goodluck.
