Can I Change the Name of an Icon without iTunes?

I haven't learned how to use iTunes yet, but I'd like to change the names of some of my apps.

The only way to change the name of an app is to jailbreak your phone. Once it's jailbroken, there are tweaks that allow you to change the name.

Mickey330 already posted the answer, you can't do it without Jailbreaking your iPhone.

You can put an app in a folder and name it whatever you like. Doesn't look as nice though.

No it doesn't. It also takes longer to open the app.
