Camera Light Sensors on Back Affect Choice of Case?

Had a radio shack employee tell me case with no/clear back preferred. Showed me pics taken inside store with his phone with case on/off, and colors did seem to render better with back of phone uncovered.

Are there sensors there for camera or other use? Thanks.

No, just keep the lens uncovered. There are no other sensors on the back.
