Calendar deleted stored appointments

Good evening! I am trying to not totally freak our, but my iPhone calendar has somehow deleted all of my events and appointments, with the exception of one that recurs daily. I have "sow all calendars" chosen, but nothing appears! Please help! I have many doctor appointments shortly. Thanks!!

If you have a backup you can restore to that and everything will be how it was before

That would be great, except my iCloud account says there is nothing stored there and it says it was last updated in February of 2016!!!!!!. I feel like I have the y2k bug 12 years too late!!!! HELP!
