buying an iphone 4 off craigslist??

umm im pretty new to all this...
i want to buy iphone off craigslist and i have arranged to meet somebody tommorow at the apple store
im going to give it to the apple store assistants to have them look over it buy im really worried about getting conned and in fact very worried

the seller seems nice enough and has given me the serial number and imei but what should I look for when i actually get there before buying it.

Sounds like you have everything in a row. Just make sure it's not blacklisted from the provider you're wishing to use it on. Not certain the Apple store can do that... might need to contact your wireless provider for that info.

Make sure it'll work with the provider you want as well.

Yeah im just worried that they will end up telling their provider the phone is stolen and it will get blocked, if there with an insurance company they will just get a new iphone.
should i get them to sign the iphone over to me somehow?
