Battery won't discharge

After one whole day at 38% I started to get worried as to why the battery percent didn't change so I turned the phone {iPhone 4} off and restarted it.The percent went from 38 to 71 !!!!! I left it on all night & it is still at 71%.It is only 2 weeks old.What is the problem & can I fix it ? Thanks

There are really no fixes to these problems unless its a problem with the OS. The best thing to do is if it continues like this return it for a replacement... Hope i was some help to you..

I restarted it again & it is OK now.If it happens again I'll get it checked out or replaced.
