After upgrading my iPhone five my battery has been draining very quick. The only thing that helps is to remove my Gmail exchange account shut my phone off then re-add it. But then it happens again. Does anyone else have this problem or know what to do about it?

Mine seems fine, but here are some helpful hints if you have not done them already.

Put your push notifications for email to every hour instead of 15 min.

Turn off the:

Weather widget and stock widget don't really need them.

If you don't Need lte turn if off.

Remember to close all your apps off when your done using them.

This should help a lot.

Check to make sure auto brightness isn't on. I had the same thing happen and it took me a day to realize that the update changed that setting since then I can now go over 12 hours on a charge with semi heavy usage.

Thank you. The only issue I have is that specifically I have had great battery life on this phone since I got it a month ago. Now, all of the sudden, I update to 6.1 and it slows down. So changing things like push, etc...might help, but the culprit appears to be this software update from what I can tell.
