Take a look at this awesome trailer that Gameloft has just released today showcasing forthcoming iOS game Asphalt 6: Adrenalines multiplayer experience. Due out within the next couple of weeks, the game is a brand-new addition to the Asphalt series, featuring both online and local multiplayer modes (Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) that can handle up to six players.
Pocket-lint got to preview an up-and-running version of the game, and going by their comments it plays every bit as good as it looks. According to Pocket-lint, this latest instalment in the Asphalt franchise has been completely rebuilt, with a shiny new graphics engine, plus new modes and types of gameplay. One of the new features is the ability to walk through the garage (which holds up to 42 cars including Ferraris Lamborghinis and Aston Martins), in 3D. The crash physics and graphics have also been beefed up and made more realistic. Pocket-lint reports that the game is also incredibly fast, even faster than Asphalt 5, and to enhance the feeling of speed even further, the nitro feature has also been revamped, with the quick-shot nitro canister being replaced by a nitro bar, so that you can unleash the nitro boost in a satisfying series of bursts.
Although no official price has been set, Pocket-lint reckons it will cost you approximately £3.99 for either the iPhone or the iPad version.
