Apple Updates iCloud.com to Let you Restore Deleted Files, Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders

Apple has quietly added a new data restore feature to iCloud.com, allowing users to rollback accidentally deleted documents, calendar changes and contacts. You can access the new ‘Restore Files’, ‘Restore Contacts’ and ‘Restore Calendars’ features the in iCloud.com Advanced Settings panel.

When you delete a file from iCloud Drive, you have 30 days from the day of deletion to recover it via the Restore Files feature. After one month, the file is permanently delete and cannot be recovered but when you restore a file, it reappears in your iCloud Drive.

Thus, if you accidentally deleted all your contacts or some bug in a third party app deleted all your iCloud calendar data or if you your iCloud data somehow got corrupted, this is a very useful feature that comes in handy.
