Alongside the release of the latest iOS 9.3 beta firmware, Apple decided to seed the latest update to the watchOS 2.2 beta firmware. Today's release marks the sixth iteration of watchOS 2.2, adding more stability and bug fixes for developers.

watchOS 2.2 adds the ability to pair multiple Apple Watches to a single iPhone. Apart from practical reasons, pairing multiple Watches to an iPhone will help developers test applications on different versions of watchOS.

watchOS 2.2 also brings changes to the Maps application. Maps now supports a new screen of actions and a search powered by Yelp.

The latest Apple Watch beta firmware can be downloaded through the Watch app on a device running iOS 9.3 or greater.
