Last week, Apple released the latest version of its mobile operating system, iOS 9.3. Some bugs have already been found in the software and are still awaiting a fix, but one bug found last week was patched today.

Some users have reported that the iOS 9.3 update "bricked" their devices. The bug prevented users from activating devices via Activation Lock if the original Apple ID and password was forgotten.

On Monday, Apple re-released a build of iOS 9.3 for affected devices. The firmware can be downloaded through iTunes (with DFU mode recommended) and holds the build number 13E237.
