Today, Apple approved an application called 'Bluetooth OnOff' into the App Store which will toggle your iDevice's Bluetooth. Normally Apple doesn't approve applications which mess with settings like Volume, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc. and makes you reroute to the Settings app. When you launch the app, an On/Off toggle will appear along with a "Start Chat" button. Simply flip the switch to turn Bluetooth On or Off. If you have a friend close by and you wanted to Bluetooth chat, feel free to search for their iDevice and start a chat(extra feature). Bluetooth OnOff. can be found within the App Store for $.99 as a Universal app, perfect for 5.1 and non-jailbroken iPad 3Gs.

Bluetooth OnOff. for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad on the iTunes App Store
