Like the rest of everyone who's had their iPhone 4 stolen, I have too.

After I learned that someone had stolen it from me, I quickly made my way to call / go to Verizon to deactivate my phone.

I am increasingly worried, I have many contacts that I would not like to see online in the internet out of no where.

I was wondering if there would be a way to track down my iPhone, unfortunately I was caught ill-prepared without a MobileMe or whatever people use.

I was thinking about calling the police, I still have the box, I THINK my parents still have the paperworks..

No insurance, sadly..

I am just about ready to file a police report anytime...this iPhone meant alot to me.

That's really a sad story. How did that happen? Where did you leave your phone? I always either have my phone in my hands or in my pockets, i will leave it away from my body only when i'm charging it, which means that i'm at home. I can imagine losing my phone with all that i have inside, and at the main time, it's not only a phone but much more than a phone, i will just go crazy as i won't be able to buy a new one in a time record. I don't want to be at your position, and i feel sorry for you.

Verizon may try and track it but not sure. That is why I installed the mobile me stuff so I can at least wipe the phone and possibly track it. Lesson learned I guess. Sucks the way people are.
