Noted leaker Benjamin Geskin has today published yet more photos of what is said to be the iPhone 8, or at least part of the iPhone 8, according to 9to5 Mac.

The latest images, which originated on Chinese social media, show what is purported to be the iPhone 8 charging coil, stacked main board, and space for the L-shaped battery.

The images are said to be taken from an engineering validation test, and show the iPhone 8 referred to as “Ferrari,” a codename that was first heard back last December, when several manufacturing documents leaked that said Apple would be launching three iPhone models in 2017, with the top-of-the-range model being codenamed “Ferrari.” That same leak also said that the phones were referred to as D20, D21, and D22, and the recent HomePod firmware leak confirmed that D22 is indeed Apple’s codename for the iPhone 8.

While there’s no way to be sure of the authenticity of the images, they do bear out several recent rumours about the iPhone 8, such as the fact that slimmed down bezels make more room for a larger, l-shaped battery.
