Somehow I inadvertently deleted the Safari icon when moving some around. Now I can't find Safari app on my phone nor can I find it available at the Apple Store to download. Suggestions?

Welcome to iPhone Forums!
Safari is one of the built in apps that can’t be removed. So if it’s missing, it’s either “hidden” in a folder or on a homescreen, or it has been restricted.
Use Spotlight Search to find it. If it’s in a folder, this feature will also show in which one.
If Spotlight Search can’t find it either, go to Settings - General - Restrictions, enter your restrictions passcode, and make sure Safari is enabled.
