About upgrading

Hi
I have an iPhone 4S running on iOS 7.0.2 it's carrier locked and I am using X sim to activate the phone
Recently I jailbreak the phone . My problem is will I be able to upgrade my iPhone to 7.0.4 when it's locked
Experts pleade help me out.

Locked or unlocked, upgrading the iOS is not dependent on whether your device is locked or not. If you're using an interposer to unlock your device and it comes with an unlock SIM, simply restore the device, insert the unlock SIM to bypass the cellular activation, and set your device up as it was set up on 7.0.2.

, Then i hav to download the ipsw and restore as normal procedure am i correct,
Once i tried to update via itunes (4S) Then itunes showed up error-1. im afraid dat again this error will come on my new 4S.

Eject the interposer and place the device into DFU mode, then restore.

do not upgrade your iphone if your iphone use sim adapter
