Be very cautions when buying anything online that's selling a "New", especially something newly released, product for less than retail. Chances are it's a refurbished model... or possibly a knock-off. When buying a new iPhone it's definitely a safe bet to buy from an authorized retailer.

The 16GB is going for $649 w/o a contract. From what I understand, though, you can't get those from Apple till sometime mid-November (this month). With a carrier contract you're looking @ $199 for the 16GB.

From what I understand... the $649 is an Unlocked phone. Although, Apple is only offering it GSM unlocked. What carrier are you planning on using?

Just checked out Etisalat's website... you just might be in luck since it looks to me like it's a GSM carrier.
