Need advise please

Hi, Can anyone please advise what is wrong with my iPhone 4. 1. My connections always run from 3G to 2G . 2. Check with provider M1 they can't help. Have anyone encounter the same problem. Should I send in for repair or just hack it and buy a new phone. Give up iPhone, thinking of changing it to android phone. Any help would be very much appreciated. P/s this is my replacement phone from my provider after the previous brand new S4 dies during the guarantee period. Thank you very much

That's on your carrier. The only thing you can really do is update your carrier settings.
