4s dock connector port difference from 4.

I'm doing a repair on a 4s that needs a new dock connector, I only have a 4G dock connector part, will it work for the 4s? The flex cable fits, but I would like to know before I power the phone up. Thanks!

Since all previous connectors up until the iPhone 5 were all the same (30 pin) I believe it would.

All devices excluding the iPhone 5 use the same dock connectors (with the exception of certain iPod Shuffles). As for form factor, the 4 and the 4S are nearly identical in every physical exterior angle.
