My phone saves the picture backwards?

Just curious why my phone saves the image backwards and wondering if I can change it?

Define backwards please. Because that isn't a term I have ever seen used with an iOS device and taking a photo.

Does this happen you take pics w/ the camera... screen shots... saving images from the web?

Ok, now your issue makes sense. You are using the front facing camera. When it is in view finder mode, it will show you a mirrored image. The reason they do that is to make it easier for you to point the camera where you want. IE you grew up in front of a mirror and your brain only knows one way to move an object that is showing you a reflection of yourself.

But the second you snap the photo the system treats the scene as any normal camera would and snaps the photo correctly. You can prove that by simply taking a picture with the front camera and then taking the same picture with the back camera. Both will turn out the same.
