SMS isn't HIPAA compliant, can only handle under 200 characters and is not allowed in my profession. I need something with audit trails as well as my office needs to know when ive received and replied to a message.
I've been trying a few apps on the App Store, the one that has stood out to me the most so far has been OnPage. It's been great to get my pages straight to my phone. I downloaded the app to give it a good test run and i am amazes to see how fast the pages come in compared to my traditional pager. It took about 1-2 seconds for the page to come in. MY pager takes about 5 minutes!!
