iPhone 5S rainbow screen in and out

iPhone 5S. It's a little older, but it's a 1 owner. No water damage. Original screen. Started a few weeks ago. On occasion, the screen would just start getting rainbow stripes up and down on the right side. Then it would go back to normal. Then it started happening more and more often. Now I barely get a blink of the Apple when I turn the phone on, then it goes to rainbows and blank. Can't see anything. I swapped the screen out with 2 different screens and still no change.

Suggestions?

This sounds like a problem with the hardware. In this case, the only option left is to go to the next Apple Retail store and let them take a look at it. They can tell you for sure why this is happening on your iPhone. Make sure it's backed up, before you go there.
I suppose your warranty has expired, because otherwise opening your device and changing the screen would have voided it.

Make sure to put the original screen on the iPhone before thanking it to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store.
