There is a app called smartsync - facebook sync in the app store that cost 99 cents that works

Jailbreak it - which I don't advise. Come on, is 99 cents really going to break you?

If I was going to keep the phone I would definitely Jailbreak it. Its just the idea of paying for something the phone should do out of the box, just can't get my head around it.
