Call Waiting Issue !!

hey guys ..
after a long journey with Nokia & Blackberry ..
finally i got my iphone 4 ..
for my previous phones when calling someone and he is in a call i used to know through a waiting alert !
what about the iphone 4 ?!
is there any app that i can use to show me that other side is in a call or no !!

ive had blackberries and never noticed any alert, my way of knowing if someone is on the other line is the first ring and second ring are kinda of sequence, not sure thats the foolproof way of telling but that usual how i can tell

I've never been able to tell if the person your calling is on the phone already. I know what i_is_for_iPhone is talking about as I've heard that to. It's usually if it's a diverted call for me.

You know if someone is trying to call you when your on the phone as you get a double beeb every couple seconds...

samsung and nokia shows if the other side is on a call
by an alert says Waiting.

i was with nokia for years and years and years and years and years and years never noticed that

Same. Had samsung D500,600,900 and to many nokias to mention. Never once see that...
