i jailbreak my iphone 4s 5.01
its locked to att and im not the usa
i can use it in itunes without a sim also with the orginal att sim
before jailbreaking when inserting non att sim i was seing this message
Only compatible SIM cards from a supported Carrier may be used to activate iPhone. Please insert the SIM card that came with your iPhone or visit a supported Carriers store to receive a replacement SIM card

now after jailbreaking my iphone when inserting non att sim ( my local sim card)
i seing this message
your iPhone may be damaged and cannot be activated
im still can use the iphone without a sim and with the att sin in itunes

please help what is

if in the future there is unlock im still able to use

a freind of me also got the same proplem (also an locked iphone 4s)
even after rejailbreaking.

There is no way to unlock or hacktivate an iPhone4S, like iTunes says, you must use an official carrier.
