Winterboard problem 5.0.1

I thought I read that Winterboard is compatible with 5.x but every time I try to run the app it freezes right away and closes. I've tried reinstalling it and it didn't help. Do I need to install something like winterfix to get it to work?

No it should work fine as is. Try restoring and rejailbreaking
