Yes, right now, hopefully it's just a small batch. There have been a few teardown videos and there is some speculation about a certain part of the hinge where it could have caused pressing back onto the screen since a few of the reports are in the same spot. but that's just theories right now. It could be just a bad batch as the amount of cracks vs overall release is small but definitely something to keep an eye on.
Apple are playing it down, saying it's a small number but who knows, apparently they will replace any units this is happening to, but when? they haven't exactly got an abundance of stock, I would be very upset if I had paid all that money to have that happen....

Yes, I would agree. Most definitely would upset me to put all that money and have to wait for the replacement with how the stock is not available at this time.
I'm always watching these teardown videos lol for all phones. I just can't help myself but I like to see how companies go about designing their phones. I think somewhere around the 12 minute mark is where he shows the hinge.
