Where to buy?

Going to make the switch to an iPhone next month when my upgrade is available. Can I only go through Verizon or is there an advantage to going through Apple directly?

I would go directly to VZ or ATT or whomever will be your carrier, instead of Apple. They can set/transfer your account up much better than Apple, who mainly deals with hardware.. <<This answer is only .... if I understood your question....>>

The only advatage I see in going to the Apple Store as opposed to a VW Store... you're not going to get another device pushed on you when you originally walked in to buy an iPhone. Not that I'm saying this is definitely what will happen at a VW Store but, there is that possibility. However, if you do choose to purchase through a VW Store... be sure it's a "Corporate Store" and not an "Authorized Retailer." Employees at a Corporate Store are actual VW employees... as opposed to the Authorized Retailer whom are not.
