You’re right, it’s easy to make. Here is the recipe:

Ingredients

2 apples
2 tsp lemon juice
150 g soft butter
120 g sugar
1 packet of vanilla sugar
3 eggs
80 ml milk
250 g flour
2 tsp baking powder

Preheat the oven to 175° C; grease 5 or 6 pieces of glassware (250 g)

Peel apples, remove core and cut them into cubes; sprinkle with lemon juice

Cream/mix butter, sugar, vanilla sugar; add eggs and milk; mix baking powder with flour, fold in to the mixture; add the apples (either all of them, like I did, or keep one third behind and put on top later)

Fill glassware at ⅔

Bake for about 30 minutes

The recipe was in German, I had to translate it. 😅
