Of course you can charge as long as you want but she posted her weather update so she was definitely using it while charging at 100%, that’s why I felt it wasn’t safe besides over charging Kills the battery life with time. I was just being cautious

You can’t overcharge an iPhone battery. Charging stops when the battery is fully charged.

It‘s not possible to overcharge an iPhone, so battery life is not affected.
