Vimeo has acquired the video creation app Cameo back in March, 2014. The reason for the acquisition was for Vimeo to expand its services to users who were looking for apps which could provide video editing tools.
Now the app has reached version 2.0 for iOS, being updated to make video edits simpler and also to support higher quality shots. iOS users of the app are now able to import video directly form their Camera Roll, and trim each clip with a few taps.
Furthermore, you can now splice together edited content and it's also possible to add text or a soundtrack from your iPhone.
