Update OS

Some app's I try to download say I need iOS5.

How do I update?

If you are on a version earlier than iOS 5 you'll need to connect to your Mac/PC. Before you do this, make sure that iTunes on your Mac/PC is fully updated. When you connect, iTunes should fire up and tell you that new software is available for your device, then just follow the onscreen instructions.

I have updated to 5.1.1. Now I have trouble connecting to Tunes. It takes ages to load and almost 90 seconds to start a track preview.
Any suggestions

I checked iTunes is latest version. I think I have worked out why it's slow. I reached my download limit and my speed drops to 128kb until the end of the month.
