untethered 4.2.1 problem..help would be greatly appreciated

so, i have the untethered 4.2.1 and i installed infiniboard to enable verticle scroll(which is working smoothly).I then came to find out from a friend of mine that he downloaded and installed infiniboard for free, whereas, i had to pay $1.99. After comparing our phones we came to realize that he had a lot more apps to choose from through cydia. The only infiniboard that is showing up on my phone is from BigBoss and under my friends he had a few alternates which allowed him to access the app for free. What is the difference from my phone that isn't allowing me to access these apps for free?

You friend will have added various repos that supply cracked (pirated) tweaks/apps...
