Uninstalling "Uninstalled" app

Hi All,

Has anybody faced with an issue that certain apps when installed from the Appstore to iphone4 does not Install ?
The status remains "Waiting" but the app does not install.

Any help on how to delete this app from iphone would be helpful.

After posting the question, I called Apple support.
Here is how the problem got solved.

Download the app on a computer via itunes/app store.
Sync iphone with this app and the issue should be fixed.
