Unable to changed email pw on iphone 15? get invalid pw pls try again

I changed my yahoo mail password on my laptop and when I login to my iphone settings to change to the new password

I get "invalid password please try again"

The cycle keeps on repeating over and over

Any suggestions on what i may be doing wrong?

I would try deleting the email account in settings, and then re-adding it. Sometimes authentication doesn't always line up correctly.

If you have an active VPN, I would turn that off or remove it temporarily. I've seen all sorts of weird issues caused by VPNs.
