Total number of sms messages

Hi, I want to know how many sms messages I have in my iphone. Where can I see the number?

Don't think any record is kept that way. You can tell how many MB are used up but not broken down into # of messages.

The only information you can get is to go to Settings>General>Usage>Manage Storage>Messages where it will say the storage space taken up by all your messages. There's no breakdown into how many messages are stored.
