Apple CEO Tim Cook has made a surprise phone call to the CNBC show, Mad Money, earning cheers from the studio when it was revealed that the “Tim in California” who was on the line was in fact one of the most famous CEOs in the world.

After congratulating the show’s host Jim Cramer on “10 great years of Mad Money,” Cook went on to talk about several newsworthy topics concerning Apple matters, including Apple’s new ResearchKit medical research app, as well as Apple Pay, and then the forthcoming Apple Watch.

Cook had some particularly interesting things to say about the importance that Apple places on integrating health and fitness into its current and future devices, telling Cramer “these devices in essence empower people to manage and track their own health and fitness. So I think that market is probably significantly underestimated.”

He then went on to agree with the host that within our lifetime there will be smartwatches capable of very advanced meidical features, saying, “discovering and curing some of these diseases will push our life expectancy much longer than it currently is, so we’ll be able to enjoy Mad Money 50 years from now.”
