I am unashamedly a sci-fi nut, and I'm sure I'm not alone. So, what have you seen, what have you read, what have you written?

A skim down Arstechnica's list yields few movies I haven't seen. I'll be tracking down those that have so far eluded me. Good to see that 2001:A Space Odyssey is top of their list. Could there really have been any other choice for the #1 sci-fi movie of all time?

Isaac Asimov once received a complaint from a friend. His "Introduction to the Slide Rule" had been spotted in the Science Fiction section of a book-store. His response was that he didn't care, because that is where his readers were most likely to find it.

With that in mind, news (real news) from Germany is that a return trip to the Moon, specifically to the landing site of Apollo 17, is in the planning stage, and that the next lunar rover could have the famous 4 Audi rings on the hood.

Vorsprung Durch Technik, indeed!
