everyone swears by biteSMS, i personally dont need anything that the normal sms app doesnt do, but try biteSMS there is a free trial in cydia

You'd have to read the costs for the biteSMS application. They do offer messaging through them instead of your carrier. Obviously you'd need to compare it against the plan you are currently on.

I've seen a lot of people that say bitesms and irealsms but I've never seen the point. I added emoji for emoticons so what else can the native app not do? Someone enlighten me.
