Tethering on a jailbroken iphone

I have the tether app downloaded from cydia and it works fine but in cellular data settings there is no apn or username/pw and on e Ina while I I get a popup that says cannot connect to the cellular data network. Is that from these missing settings? If so, where can I get the info needed? Thanks!

I can't really reply to your quest ms but I can say this

I used MiWi and it worked great I did not have to deal with any of the settings you are talking about

Use ISSH and you dont have to jailbreak for that
