Tether App

A tether app for the iPhone apparently made a brief debut in the app store this morning but was pulled less than two hours later. It cost $14.99. It would allow free tethering without a personal hotspot/tethering plan from your carrier. Did anyone snag this app before it was pulled? I was too late. I tried the site tether.com for the download but it referred me to the app store. Oh well guess I'll keep paying my $20 a month to Verizon.

I have it, and I have used the BlackBerry version for the last 3 years. Works great. Wish they could have left it on the AppStore. I bet there was pressure from the carriers that made them pull it.
