9to5 Mac writes that luxury car maker Tesla has launched a line of iPhone 6/6s and iPhone 6/6s Plus leather cases and wallets that have been fashioned from off-cuts of automotive grade leather used to make the leather upholstery in its cars. For Tesla, it’s a win-win: promote your brand while reducing wastage of leather costs. And for the customer, you get a really smart-looking leather case, complete with a neat Telsa logo, to protect your phone.

Another bonus, and, increasingly, very important, feature of the Tesla leather iPhone wallet case in particular is that it is RFID-blocking, meaning that it protects your cards from RFID skimming that can steal the data from your credit cards.

The Tesla-designed iPhone 6/6s and iPhone 6/6s Plus leather wallet cases cost $50, and the iPhone 6/6s and iPhone 6/6s Plus leather cases cost $45. And if you want to go the whole hog, you can even get a pair of touchscreen-friendly leather Tesla gloves for $100!
