We all know the problems and issues T-Mobile has been facing to get the iPhone 5 in its stores. Nevertheless less than one month since Apple released its latest handset, reports are coming in stating that last weekend some T-mobile retail stores have received a special kind of delivery – Nano SIM cards for the iPhone 5. The stores in question are located in New York.

TmoNews who first reported the news predicted the arrival of the SIM cards but they weren’t expecting it until mid-October. So far no one knows how many locations enjoy the presence of the above mentioned SIM cards, but the fact that they have become available represents an important step in the right direction.

T-Mobile has begun offering iPhone services via the 1900MHz HSPA in selected locations like Seattle, Las Vegas and the New York metro area.

T-Mobile is the fourth largest US carrier and has just started the “Bring your own iPhone” campaign that covers an unlimited data plan for Apple’s iPhone 5. T-Mobile offers users pretty much everything for only $69/month. Compare that to an AT&T or Verizon data plan and you’ll see you get a discount of $50 per month or more. Price tags for unlocked handsets freshly out of the factory start at $649 for the 16 GB version and go all the way to $849 for the 64GB version.
