Synchronizing numbers via itunes with excell

When I try to transfer excell sheets to numbers on my iphone 4 the format for date is lost. On the iphone only integers are shown. What can I do?

where are you locating the files and in what format

The files are either located in numbers on the iphone and should be exported into any folder on a pc (windows 7) via itunes. On the pc I want them to be stored in excell format.
Similarly I want to transfer files from the pc to numbers on the iphone.

so just to check here you need the files to go from your pc > iphone > individual contacts right?

I am not sure that I understood you correctly. The files should go via itunes from the pc to the iphone. In the iphone I can open them in the App Numbers. Does this answer your question?

yes kinda im going to mess with that when i get done work and can get to my computer ill see what i can come up with give me till tomorrow if you can i just started my new android theme so im swapped

From what it looks like you need a c++ compiler I found a way to get them there but the date is all c++ so the iPhone has a problem reading it after update 4.1.1 I would look in to a app that will manage contacts that you cam port the docs to at this time I'm really at a lose
