Just enable automatic downloads within iTunes.

Further more you can just plug in iPhone, right click on devices name...click "Transfer Purchases".

But if you want song to automatically download to iTunes every time you buy one you have to manually enable automatic download with iTunes.

Edit> Preferences> Store

click the box beside "Music" underneath "Automatic Downloads".

Music that is NOT purchased from the iTunes store will not transfer. Apple are Nazis in that way. Jerks.

You'll have to transfer none-iTunes music a different way.

Disk-Aid does this best.

How come all the songs (not purchased on Itunes) on the phone show on my home computer and they won't show at my office?

Songs loaded onto your phone from your PC will only show up on that PC. They won't show up on any other PC you synch your phone to unless you have a separate program to download them off your phone.

From my  iPhone 4S 16GB Black

Because iTunes does not handle none-iTunes purchased music.lol. Very simple. why would they....they want you to buy ALL music from iTunes of coarse.

Unless you are subscribed to iTunes Match...then iTunes Match will hold all songs for cloud storage and automatic downloads whether they were bought from iTunes or not. But iTunes Match costs a monthly subscription. Not sure how much it is....but I'm sure it would be what most users consider "too much".
