Switching to iphone5 help

Thinking about getting iphone5? How do I get all my info from my iphone4 onto new phone? I use iTunes,but unsure how to transfer everything, without losing everything.

When your iPhone is plugged into iTunes it should automatically sync everything. Your data is backed up and saved on your computer permanently.

If your using iCloud once you activate and sign in using your apple Id it should transfer everything.

As it was mentioned above... the iTunes sync will create a backup of your iPhone 4. As well, iCloud (if you're using it) does the same thing. When you get your iPhone 5 home and connect it to iTunes... it will prompt you and ask if you want to set it up as "New device," "From a Backup" or "From an iCloud Backup." As long as you have a backup via iTunes sync or iCloud you'll be good to go in moving all your stuff from the 4 to your new 5.

If you get your new phone at a Verizon store they will switch everything for you as well.
